    Brands on homepage

Currently we have a clothing store on actinic business V8

on the left side of the page, we have items e.g. Shirts, Trousers, Suits, Jumpers

I would also like to put brands, e.g. Armani, Eton, GANT

so that when you click those it shows you everything we have in that brand from shirts, trousers and suits.

    Is this possible?

If you create a section for each brand, and populate that section with [cut down?] duplicates....

Otherwise you can add a CV to contain the brand name and then use a search string link to show the results. I would think you could also combine this with the method of showing the search results with buy now buttons that was described in the forum a little while back.

Thanks again for your help guys. I've gone with the search idea.
It works well, and means that it is basically a maintenance free solution - which i like!

I added a brands section to the column and just copied and pasted the search string for each brand into it - applied the css and it looks just like the links for the product catalogue.

I might add the buy now buttons at a later date - its not essential right now. Thanks again

following on from this i have another idea to increase this power
