Price Display

Hi,

I am currently using version 7 but abot to upgrade t V8. Would anyone know if there is a way in V8 to make the price display change, when a different option is chosen. At the moment the only way I seem to be able to do it, is by changing the HTML text in option drop down box.

Not automatically, it is still the same system.

I have seen an Actinic site where this was employed to change the price (think it was a picture framing shop) but was an additional javascipt hack outside the standard Actinic routine ... very effective as it shows the price dynamically.

I've done some add-ons that do this.

One displays a Permutation with a live display of the Permutation Price. This is intended for situations where you have serveral Attributes and Choice sets per Component. Putting the price into the HTML for Name field won't work there as the price may be dependent on the combination of choices.

The other is intended for use with a single Attribute per Component. It sums the Product Price and all Components and diplays a dynamic total. E.g. it would be ideal fon the Actinic Demo site for the computer product with choices for Hard Disk, Monitor, etc.

These add-ons won't suit every type of product, so I'd need to know a bit more about what you're selling.
