I am on a 1and1.com dedicated server with plesk so far very pleased with their support compared to valueweb my old provider.
I have a dedicated IP address for the Website with the Actinic software
I have a SSL certificated from GEO trust, codes on the site and assigned to the site
I have a few questions on recommended settings.
Currently I have the site installed on my dedicated IP address of my dedicated server, the rest of my sites are on my shared IP address. The DNS for the domain is pointed to my dedicated IP address
1. I am trying to now setup the SSL the questions are now do I have the SSL and the HTTP on the same server. Assuming my answer to this question is yes on my current setup. My question is, is there a preferred way that will be easier for me in the long run?
