Email Truncating

Placed a test offline order and emailed myself the order received email and later the order shipped email.

However both have been truncated - see attachment

is that the same problem with characters in product names as in 8.5.2, I wonder?

Funny about that. I've just had an email from one of my customers querying the email as it was also truncated. Have only just upgraded to 8.5.2 due to another problem I was experiencing... have I opened a can of worms?

It does have a 'fix' for 8.5.2, Remmo

A hunt of the forums should find it (I had a quick try but can't locate it yet!)
It ought to be made a stickie really, as the bug is current and unfixed in a maintenance release because EVERYONE using 8.5.2 should know about it

I haven't checked in V9, tbh. I haven't really looked at the fix at all yet, other than to copy it into my "things to do when I eventually upgrade to 8.5.2" list!

It seems to be a bug in an actinic script that causes problems when certain characters are in the product name. There is a known fix which hopefully actinic will include in the release.

The fix was on my "to-do" list for ugrading to 8.5.2 (which I never quite got around to doing!) and, as it was picked up in V9 too, I thought I'd better check before dismissing it completely.
