    Archiving Old Orders

We've currently been using actinic for a number of years to run our online electrical business, but we're currently finding it's taking longer and longer to load the database.

Is there a way to archive the older orders so they do not remain in the current database, but are atill accessable?

If there isn't, this would be a very useful feature as it would really speed up loading times

If you have a multisite version you could create a second site and then import a snapshot of your current site into that, then delete the orders from the new one.

If you don't have multisite, all you can do within Actinic is to create a snapshot for the old ones and then import it when you want to look at them.

Another way would be to print invoices to PDF and store them on disc, using a search to find them, export your orders to file (but then you'll have to look through data files full of seemingly meaningless values).

If you use our One Stop Order Processing software, you can just copy and rename the site to another subdirectory under the sites directory and it will allow you to access the orders, but you then won't be able to view the copy in Actinic.
