Hierarchical Import

I export a site in order to change all products at one go to generate popup. All cells in the column were changed to 1. When I then tried to import the file back into Actinic it gave the error "There was an error in the first line of the file".

as discussed before did you open with excel?

open with a text editor or check how you have saved it
there are plenty of forum answers on this

From your link it appears you have saved the file as xls instead of csv. Actinic cannot read xls files for importing.
