    Seemless Payment Gateways for V8

    Hi,

I currently have an ecommerce store using a different software provider and want to get Actinic now I think it's the next step up.

We currently use PayPal Payments Pro where when customers get to the payment screen to enter their card details they aren't taken to a different site.

What I'd like is something where they pay on my own site with my own SSL and domain.

Is this possible and who are the best payment gateways to look into?

I know secure hosting do one, but i've noticed the domain name will change to https://www.secure-server-hosting.com..........

    Hi,

    Is this possible
Yes, it is possible if you want to download the customer's credit card details and process them yourself. What you need to do is find a hosting company who will allow you to use your own SSL certificate on the server (they may be able to purchase this for you) rather than use their shared certificate which will give you a different url.

If you want to stick to a payment service provider to deal with the credit card payments then the customer will always be taken to a different url as it will go to their own secure servers.

Can Actinic confirm if PaypalPro with your own SSL cert will be PCI-DSS compliant

          Hi Jo,

As I understand it if you do not capture credit card details yourself then you will don't need to be pci-dss compliant. That responsibility is with the Payment Service Provider (see http://www.actinic.co.uk/pci-dss.htm)
