Column Count

I'm trying to re-set the columns on the section page

First row should have one product
Second and subsequent 3 products

The attached gifs show the settings I've chosen and the results I've got which don't seem to match up.

Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Works fine for me when I do that. I you sure you are changing the settings on the parent section and not the child sections? Why did you set the first row count to 1, was it not already set to Use Parent(=1)?

How can I check whether I am changing parent or child settings. I feel sure this is where I changed it previously so that I had one and five. It is just now that I want to add another section and feel it would look best at 1 and then rows of 3.

On the content tree click on the parent section of the sections you want to change the column count in.

Thank you - that's were I was going wrong. It's sorted now.
