    Site Snapshot Error

We have recently upgraded to v8.5.2 mulituser and are unable to backup the site via the Snapshot/Export Site option. The error we are experiencing is as follows:

    Errors
(File ExportSite.cpp, Line 1162) - There were no registered sites available to take a backup from.
    Warnings
(File Snapshot.cpp, Line 925) - Registry error 2, key Site - The system cannot find the file specified.

We have one site (site1) which has not changed. We have searched the forum and most people seem to have experienced the problem when renaming or changing the site but this is not the case with us. We can see that site1 is in the registry but when we look in File/Sites this is empty.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which operating system are you using? If Vista this can drop the site data elsewehere. Which version did you upgrade from?

      Snapshot Error

We run Windows XP Home and have upgraded from Actinic Catalog V8.5 to Actinic Business Multi User V8.5.2. The snapshot has worked after the upgrade but has suddenly stopped working.

        Hi Nicola,

Can you take a look in your 'Sites' folder and see if there is a 'Sites.ini' file there. It should contain something like:

        [Sites]
        Site1=

Make it look as it does above, ie:

            [Sites]
            Site1=

close and save it and then see if you that helps.
