Offline Postcode Lookup

have been messing with V9 production and using the offline postcode look up works great, but when you use a company address, it shows the full address to selct but does not populate the field. so you have to type the company name in

can anyone else confirm this

Hi Darren - I believe company names are not part of the standard data offered by PostcodeAnywhere - in the same way as when you look up a private address you don't get the occupier's name.

company names are part of postcode anywhere, i use it on my live v8.5 sites and it is shown in the list of addresses when you look up a post code for offline orders

I agree with Darren, but I also thought that the offline lookup from Actinic might have been limited to a street level address, in which case the company name will not be provided. But then again, if Darren can see the details in the list, then perhaps not.

It certainly does come up with the company names and addresses at that post code but the company name is not inserted into the address field in Actinic.

I just checked and it is in the system, but was a bit late and not quite serious enough to go into 9.0.1, as we were trying to keep fixes to a minimum in that release.

Hopefully it will be fixed in the next maintenance release.
