Variable 'Innerlayout' is used out of context

    HI,
I keep getting this error when I try to upload my web site:
Variable 'Innerlayout' is used out of context

I am using the web page outer layour 2 header Bars-1 sidebar -1 horz Nav Bar 1. I've made a copy and reverted to factory settings but it keeps coming up. If I delete the Innerlayout variable it will upload without the inner detail.
I see from the formum that the variable is in the wrong place but I can't see what's wrong if I used the factory version and still get the same error?
    Thanks,
    Breda

Does the error say how many times it is being used out of context? Does changing section change the number?

The number of times out of context often relates directly to the number of products and / or fragments in a section.

The innerlayout error may be coming from another layout such as a product or fragment layout etc (removing the main innerlayout may resolve as it is removing an offending product layout).

If the site is lightly modified or you have the MultiSite version try changing themes to see if that resolves.

      HI
It comes up as 1 error and when I click on it it brings me to to overall web layout. I'm using the same inner layout for all product pages.
      Thanks

        Hi Breda,

Has this just started happening? If so, have you changed any layouts recently?

          Hi Tracey,
It's happening about 2 weeks but I can't track what change I made to the layout. I tried making a copy of the changed layout and restoring factory settings but that does not seem to have fixed it.

            Hi Breda,

I think we'd need to see the snapshot to find out why you are getting this coding error. Can you raise a support ticket so that we can organise this please.
