    error message on closing down software

    can you please help me determine what this message means.
    when i close down my software, usually the options for backup etc pops up but i am receiving this message first.

    unable to open the registry key "Software\Actinic\Catalog8" Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.

    maybe this is nothing but i have not seen it before, can you advise please what i should do and what it means.

    This is an operating system error, so you need to look for a solution in the support area for your OS.

    Maybe support.microsoft.com ?

      This is nothing to do with Actinic.

      Search the internet this is a fairly common issue with Vista and occasionally with XP. Make sure you have more than the required RAM installed, especially if you are running Vista.

        Thanks to wjcampbe and drounding, have got some advice and have sorted problem by closing down Snapfire which was very hungry!
