Odd behaviour in Sales Analysis

Hmmm.. this is puzzling (to me at least)

If I preview the Sales Analysis from 01/12/2007 to today, it shows that I have sold 99 Magic Teaspoons.

If I move the start date to 01/11/2007, or to 01/10/2007, it still appears (still saying 99 spoons, as we only started selling them in December).

BUT when I move the start date to 01/09/2007, the item does not appear at all in the list.

Any ideas on how/why this would happen?

Can you try it with ordinary teaspoons and see if it's the same.
