Creating more page with the templates in actinic

    Hi,

I have tried to search the community for something that I need to find out, with no luck.

    link to my site: http://www.wheels.uk.com

Basically if I try to explain what i'm after:
    - We sell Alloy Wheels and i need to make a fitment guide.....where customers can select their car make from drop down menus which go to another page to show the car models, etc, until it performs a search on the site to show what wheels fit the car.
    - The plan is to have these drop down menus in the body of the page.

Now I have thought of a way, which would be to create a new template to use and then add a fragment to the section so that this would display the other html that I need to have on the page.

However when I add a new page (fragment) I would have to create a new fragment in the Design > Library > Fragments.
This I feel would mean I would have hundreds on fragments here.

So I need to know what other ways I can achieve this.

I hope this all makes sense.

    Regards

Any way you do this will be a lot of work, but easiest may be a section for each car maker, with subsections for each car model and within each model subsection a duplicate of the Alloy wheel product, linking through to a Single Product Page for additional info and purchase.

You can embed your HTML into the Fragment text. Just surround it in !!< and >!! - e.g. The following word is !!<<b>bold</b>>!!.

          Thanks for everyones input here.

I have checked out the different variations to get what I am after and it appears that Normans idea is exactly what I am after.

When I have this inplace I shall let you guys see my work.

          Thanks again,

            Norman,

I am working on this now and appear to have came across a problem....
Basically as i'm adding all these new fragments in, they will all be displayed in that section.
            STORE > Fitment Guide

Obviously first of all I need to only allow the customers to select their Car Make, I do not want all possible models of every car on the first page, if you understand me.
Is there anyway how to hide these on that page, yet still have them link from the Fitment Guide?

I have just thought of a possible way.....
I suppose I could make a different fragment and have all of the bits after the very first fragment "Car Manufacturer". So that people cannot physically go into it, I will remove all links on the site that point to it, and just have all of the fragments in there.

            What can you suggest me?

            Thanks
