Product range- Variety or more of the same?

Not sure which way to go here?

I am currently re-doing my existing product range layout to one per page.

Currently the amount of products in each section is limited and will need expanding at some point.

It's a case of prioritising my work and I am not sure whether it would be better to:

1. Add more products to the exisiting categories

or

2. Add new sections with different products giving more variety to my site.

Any thoughts welcomed.

If there is enough to class as a 'choice', then add more variety. If existing sections a little empty, add more existing.

Better to be a master of few, than a failure at many - don't have a site with a black belt in No-Can-Do.

It's all about choice nowadays, but not too much choice cos that just confuses the easter eggs out of you.
