Actinic discounts posting to Sage Line 50 Link

I have started using the marketing options in Actinic v8 to allow some customer groups special discounts for frequent purchasing. This all works fine and Actinic does its job.

However, when we use Actinic link to Sage Line 50 (we bypass Actinic order processing) it creates a sales order with 'net' prices. In other words it discounts the actual sage prices and this means that we cannot monitor the value of discounts being offered.

Is it possible to have Actinic post the sales prices to Sage Nominal 4000 and the discount to Sage Nominal 4009 (for example)? Rather than just the net amount to the one nominal.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Hi Sean,

I'm afraid that this isn't possible as there are no fields in the Link software to tell it which nominal code to transfer discounts to. I will add it to the wish-list for you.

Not what I'd hoped to hear but thank you for your answer adding to the wish list.

At least now I can concentrate on a workaround.
