Error 404 on Home Page

Hi,

I'm running V9 on a live site as of this weekend, the only problem I have come across so far is none of the Best Seller or New product images will pop up when clicked on from the home page. They all work fine though when in any of the shop pages. Any thoughts? I have carried out two complete site refreshes including images btw.

This is not standard actinic behaviour so I would check you code - as an asside its very annoying as a customer if I clicked on an image I would expect to be taken to the product where I could buy it not just get an image

Mal, I'm sure it worked fine in V8.5, clicking on the image pops up a larger image + a description. Click on the item description takes you to the product in the shop where you can purchase (this feature still works). Hovering over the image on the home page brings up the same javascript link as it does in the shop. Where do I check the code for this?

In a default v8.5.2 site the Best Sellers image will take you to the product and not produce a pop-up window. I would guess that you had edited the layout to make it do that in v8.

Where do I check the code for this?

Go onto the Design tab and click on one of your Best Seller items in the preview pane to load the code.

Thank you Tracy. I certainly do not recall carrying out the mod so if did, it was most likely by accident as my knowledge on customising remains quite limited. I will check it out.
