Deferred payment with digital downloads - help!

Hi all

I'm on Catalog 8.5.2 and I am trying to figure out how to allow people to pay with either cheques or with credit / debit card details collected for later entry into a virtual terminal.

The problem is that for these types of payments the receipt page allows access to the download before we've received payment.

Now, I DO want to allow digital download access on the receipt page for credit cards processed via Protx and Paypal.

To summarise, I have 4 payment types set up:

1) Protx for credit / debit cards (I DO want digital downloads on the receipt)

2) Paypal standard for people with Paypal accounts (I DO want digital downloads on the receipt)

3) Credit cards sent separately (I DO NOT want digital downloads on the receipt)

4) Invoice and payment with delivery (I'm using this for cheque payments) (I DO NOT want digital downloads on the receipt)


Can someone help please?
