    Dynamic Drop Down Menu

    Hi,

I have a client that has asked for a drop down menu with flashy effects. I had a quick look on
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/indexb.html

but couldn't really find anything that (1) I was sure would work with Actinic and (2) looked good enough.

Could anyone provide information on sites that are using dynamic menu slides and whether there are any "easy to add in" commercial products that are available.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ben

        Hi RuralWeb,

Thank for the link, I was looking at the site earlier and there is some great stuff on there. I dont really want to pay for anything though - I am capable of using dhtml menus but just dont know how to get them into Actinic. I am from a .net background and am really struggleing to get to grips with Actinic.

IMO the cost is minimal compared to the time spent DIY

As you have found doing it in Actinic is usually far more complex than doing it on a regular HTML page. There are so many quirks and peculiarities (most undocumented) that can have you tearing your hair out. For the small cost it is well worth the money and the time saved can be better spent elsewhere on the site (and no, I am not on commission)
