Pick List - Sorting a Customer Order

Is there any easy (or hard) way to have packing lists sort by store section so as to create a warehouse "pick list"? (Actinic V8 Bus Client) This may be a real dumb question but....

There is a report called outstanding products report that will print a picking list for all products for all orders that as yet haven't had a packing list printed. You can't change the order on the standard packing list report though within Actinic.

You could do this by modifying the Actinic report using crystal reports 8.5, there are a couple of people on this forum who can do this for you if you don't wish to do it yourself.

If might also be worth taking a look at my One Stop Order Processing program as this can give you a list of order lines sorted by product purchased, so by prefixing either the product description or product reference with a code, this could be used to do what you want to do.

Thanks Jan - I'll take a look at these options and report back. Spent some time yesterday exporting reports in CSV to Excel and have a sort of process but to implement would need a lot of macros;-)
