Internal error when clicking next to pay

I have had a customer try to place a large order this afternoon and he was unable to do so because he got a white page with the message

"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@lowcostplumbingsupplies.co.uk and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

This happened when he clicked next to proceed to entering payment details.

The site works fine if there are less items in the basket, could anyone shed some light on this please?

It's very likely that you're using hosting services that only allow a limited amount of memory or time for the necessary Perl scripts that Actinic uses to run.

There's not much that can be done on this forum as the problem probably lies with your server.
