Gift Wrapping

Hi,

I'm trying to get my gift wrapping option working and it is but not quite.. if that makes sense.

I have it as a section called gift wrapping with a product called gift wrapping. But it appears with the rest of my products... how do i make it not show?

why dont you add a checkbox to each product, that has gift wrapping as an option, you'll find details on adding choices and checkboxes to products, in the manual.

why not add a block statement to say if section name is "Gift Wrapping" do not show it in the navigation.

if you are using my original code from the AUG, and offering gift wrappping in the checkout rather than on each product, you have to have gift wrapping as a product or section somewhere.

We simply have it as the very last section- not a perfect solution but workable.

I created a component called "Gift Wrap" and i have two attributes for color and size. When i go to add a new item and click on added gift wrap it adds the gift wrap but not the cost of 3.99.

at a guess, I would say that you didn't give the component a price in the 'General' tab?

Under the general tab there isn't a place to put a price. There is a prices tab and i have put it in there?

Check what your 'pricing model' is set to on the general tab of the product details.
