Design Snapshot Now Working Fully?

Hi Guys

Can anyone confirm that the design snapshot now works as it should?

ie leave Jonny Client to work on the products whilst we get the design complete and sent over for them to import without wiping out there work??

In v8 I (and many of you) faced massive issues with this feature. (Anyone also report all is AOK with V8 DS too )

Not tested it yet hence the ??

The 'Design Snapshot' in v9 is completely different from the 'Export Partial Site Design' feature that was there in v8 (to all intents and purposes, v8 didn't have a Design Snapshot).

The 'Design Snapshot' in v9 includes the following:

• All library items
• Images (and additional files) used in the design
• Colour scheme settings
• Site Options settings

so it works quite different to v8.

I've been testing it with some customer snapshots and it works well. You can always test it by upgrading v8 sites into v9 designer and then take a design snapshot and import it into a default site to see what happens.

btw, I just tried a design snapshot I'd been working on, imported it into a new site and it worked beautifully.
