password issue in v9.1??

is it just me, or is there an issue with putting your password into the ftp details in network setup, instead of ****** you get |||||||| characters.

version 9.1 on xp home

I get the same vert lines on XP V9.01, but on Vista nice black circles.
Doesnt seem to cause any problems probably something to do with character mapping difference between the operating systems.

Different symbols

Sounds very much like a) a missing or corrupt system font on the machine, or possibly b) Actinic is trying to use a system font that is not used in Vista.
That doesn't sound much like an Actinic problem to me.
