    Invoice & Delivery Addresses

    Hi All

Can anyone tell me (I can't see anything) if there is a way to stop Actinic from repeating the invoice address in the Delivery Address section on the customer's receipt, when they have NOT ticked deliver to a different address?

Most of my customers have their goods sent to a third party (gifts) and I get round this by using a multi info form for delivery details and I would like the delivery address on the receipt to remain empty, unless they tick that check box. Customers get confused when they input delivery details on the form and then the receipt says it's going to their address.

Actinic have sent this to development, but I've not heard and wondered if anyone else knew?

    Thanks

    Helen

You can edit the customer email via the 'Design' tab in V8. It's in the pagetype dropdown.
You should be able to remove the 'ship to' information from there

      Hi

Thanks, but when I said customer receipt, I didn't mean their email I mean their invoice receipt that they get at the end of the checkout process. I don't want to delete it completely as some customers use it, I just want to set a condition where the delivery address does not default to the invoice address if the 'delivery to a different address' box is not ticked. It may not be possible.

      Cheers!

right...it's doubtful you can have it both ways.
You could remove the delivery address information from the receipt page but it'd remove it for ALL customers, I doubt there is any easy way to do it only for those who haven't selected the alternative address in the checkout.

          Okay thanks,

I've temporarily got round it by typing an explanation in the 'Delivery Address' box on the receipt page, but hoped for something a little less messy.

          C'est la vie!

          Cheers!
