Excluding certain products from a coupon code discount

Hi all
At our site we have a special offer section comprising of sale items. I'd like to create a discount code that is applicable to all products except the ones in the special offer section but can't work out if this is possible. I can find the Product Grouping facility in Marketing but can't see how to link (or not link)this to a discount code. Any help much appreciated.

Put all eligible products in one product group and put all the special offers in another, then simply run the coupon against the appropriate group.

I've just done this and it works well.

Only snag is that the discount line comes up after each product on the invoice instead of all togther at the bottom which I prefer. Is there anyway round this?

Hi,

In the 'Discounts & Surcharges Settings' window, click on the 'Miscellaneous' tab and tick the boxes under the 'Consolidate Cart Discount Lines for:' area for which types of discounts you want to be grouped together.
