Automatic Email

Hi Guys

I've search the forum and cant find what I'm looking for.

Bascially, my client would like their shop set so that when someone places an order, the customer will receive an automatic email saying that the order has been received.

Reason being is that my client doesn't work on the weekend, and there's no way of telling their customers (who order over the weekend) that the order has been received.

Can this be done?

Thanks for your advice, but I'd rather have someone tell me here to save me the hassle.

As you say Lee it would have been eaiser and quicker to just answer your question than the time it's taken to debate you looking it up in the help file so on that basis i would suggest you go to business settings and select the ordering tab and then simply tick the box for the option "Send Receipt Email to Customer" and i think you'll find that does the job.

Easy Solution

The easiest solution is to go into your actinic Business Settings choose Ordering Tab and tick box
"Send me an Email when i have an order to Download and enter the email address you want it to be sent

Lee it aint the only job i have to do today, i actually work for a living and therefore understand whats its like and sorry i dont put up with idleness, you get out of life what you put in.
