    Order number sequence

    I recently went through all the transactions on one of our stores and it appears to skip numbers here and there on the orders.


    I know where some of the numbers went through testing and a server chain but the others i have no idea, is this a common problem with Actinic or unique to me?

    i've also noticed this and the only reason i could think of was that they were dropped orders at checkout as in people didn't complete the orders for what ever reason.

      Orders get assigned a number at a certain stage in the process and at that stage the transaction does not have to have been completed. All PSP pendings get an allocation i believe.

        Isn't it order.num that keeps a track on the server of which number to use next?

        It could also be missing orders that have been completed and not downloaded ... worth investigating further to ensure you are not losing anything.
