Has anyone managed to get this working?? I maintain sites in both versions now and want to use DW with both - however have been unable to get the v9 extension sitting alongside v8... Any hints would be fantastic!! TIA.

You get the option in the DW menu for either version. -
The v9 extension allows to select which version of Actinic in DW. YOu won't need the v8 extension.Comment

Hi, I know this is an old post, but I'm also trying to update a V8 site using DW.
I can see the option in Dreamweaver to use V8 but it's greyed out and not selectable.
Anyone know how to resolve this?Comment

This has now seemed to have resolved itself weirdly. After various re-boots, the Dreamweaver option 'Actinic > Use Version > Actinic v8' is now selectable.

Dear Richard,
A little tip is to always save the document in dreamweaver first.
This gives you full functionality of the Actinic menu.
