Large number of sections ->

I have a site with approximately 15000 sections so far, because I operate to a one product per section policy, it works great for the search engine results but the site is probably only 20% finished as it is and actinic is grinding to a halt during imports and not completing the import.
Does anybody know of a way to make Actinic work with these imports ? I can split the site and get multi site if required but would be much easier for myself to keep everything together.

Any suggestions ?

There seems to be a bug at the moment in v9 with large hierarchical imports grinding to a halt. The only thing I can suggest is downloading a 30-day trial of v8 (where the import works fine) and then transfer over all the store structure with a snapshot into v9.
