Before I get too excited and hack rotate.ini are there any implications I should be wary of?

I must admit, I've never edited it myself. I would suggest you don't change the number of rows in the file - you simply change the URLs and link text.

How odd - my one doesn't contain those incorrect links, and I'm just using a bog standard 9.0.1 from the website. A Friday mystery!

On a slightly similar, but twisted, Friday note - I can't read [something].ini without hearing an East London yoof in my ear going "no wot I mean, ini!" or "yeah, ini!" or something......
