    Can't Print A Thing? Help!!

    Hi Folks

    Every time I try to print an invoice or packing list I get the following:

    Error in File C:\Program Files\Actinic v8\Invoices.rpt:
    Request cancelled by the user.

    Obviously I haven't cancelled anything so what's that all about?

    Not sure if it's related but I'm unable to make a backup at the moment too, just get a fatal error!

    the last printer you used is probably not online or you are not connected to it, have you changed printers recently?

      Nope, just moved offices but kept the same printer and it worked fine Wed and Thursday, just not today!

      Stumped me! But then that's not difficult

        Hi,

        Can you try the following:

        - close Actinic
        - click the 'Start' button and select 'Run'
        - type 'regedit' in the 'Open' field and click 'OK'
        - this will open the 'Registry Editor' (please be careful in here as you could mess up your computer if you delete the wrong thing)
        - expand the following branch: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Actinic\Catalog8\Sites\<Site Name>\
        - highlight the 'Printer Settings' folder and delete it
        - close the registry editor and open Actinic and see if you can print any reports
