Actinic Shared SSl

Hi All

I am using multisite and have just upgraded one of my sites from V7 to 8.5.1 after the upgrade I noticed that actinic shared ssl option isn't available in the payment method options, although it is still available in other sites within actinic multisite.

Can actinic shared ssl details be entered manually?

Shared SSL is going to be phased out soon as it is not pci compliant.

you should be looking at pci compliant methods of taking payment - please search the forum if you need more info

I am waiting for google checkout to become available in Actinic as it will save me alot of money (not a complaint actinic I know you're busy), but in the mean time I need to use actinic shared ssl.

you probably need to rethink.

Actinic have not yet given a date for google checkout, but if you use shared SSL whilst you wait you will not be pci compliant.

You can of course run the risk of not being compliant but your bank may well close your merchant acct.

if you need an interim measure then use paypal

GC apparently it is ermmm being sort of worked on, but dont hold your breath, i think it has been on the table for a year now.

I agree it would be nice to get free processing against my ad spend but i am not holding any hope of this happening sometime soon, as Jo said paypal is a quick fix, nochex another, payoffline another (reminds me i still have not set this up yet) i think GC got side lined for AP

I managed to get actinic shared ssl working, have now had a look at actinic payments and that might be the right way to go for me.
