Displaying Background Colour Against Choices

Hi,

I'm a V8 Business User. I saw some functionality on Norman's site, which I wanted to try out. When you have a choice on a dropdown list, to show the colour as the background of that choice. So Customers could choose by colour rather than by name. However the suggested 'self-fix' talks about modifying act_primary.html etc. which, if I'm not mistaken, is pre-V8 design ?

I couldn't find anything on this Community to say how to achieve the same result in V8 - is there an easy option...for a non techie !

I've completely rewritten this for V8/9. It now uses PHP to build the HTML and doesn't need any JavaScript. You also now keep the background colours in a variable that you can set for each Choice.

It's no longer "donationware" so you'll have to contact me for price details.
