    Problem with multi User and Vista

    Hi Guys...

    OK.. I've got Business Plus with Multi User (2 user) and the main instalation is on Vista Home and the saterlite machine is on XP pro. The problem ive got is that on the XP machine when it comes to browsing to the 'sites' directory it doesnt see any shared folders even though I can browse to them outside of Actinic.

    Can anyone help?

    How have you set up the shared folder? Have you mapped a drive on the XP machine? Do you have User Account Control (UAC) turned on on the Vista pc as this can sometimes cause problems?

      Thank you for the reply...

      After much playing around I think I fimaly found a config that works. This is altering the Sync server to a non Vista machine as as of now (last several hours) we have had no crashes.

      My only issue at this point is that The machine that is not running the Sync Server (the Vista machine) does not show any of the catalogs images in any of the preview modes. While at the moment I'm just glad to be multi using Actinic the missing images on the saterlite machine make it not ideal for catalog development.

        That's interesting. I thought we'd solved the issues with the sync server on Vista pcs. Let me check to see if there are any known issues regarding this.

        Where do you store the images - are they in the Site folder?
