    SSL check box greyed out

    Hi,

    We are looking at securing our checkout pages with SSL before the user gets sent to PROTX but when we go to “Business Settings” / “Payment and Security” the SSL tick box is greyed out.

    I can’t seem to find any settings to enable this and everything I read just says to use SSL, tick the check box. Any ideas how to enable the greyed out box ?

    On payments and security tab have you been into configure method? can you enable it there?

      The configure method option doesn't seem to have any settings that will enable SSL and the "Configure SSL Settings" button is greyed out as well.

        None of those options require the SSL. Try adding a new method and selecting "credit card details captured for later" and then click the "configure method"

          The SSL can either be on the whole site or the credit card capture page for processing offline - if passing through to PROTX there is, in the eyes of Actinic, no need to encrypt the users address details.

            So if I want to secure the checkout pages where the customer enters their address details, I don't need to tell actinic ?

            All the checkout pages are pulled from the cgi-bin, so do I just need to protect that but won't that make pages like the search results secure ?

              when we go to “Business Settings” / “Payment and Security” the SSL tick box is greyed out.
              This is greyed out when you have 'Credit Card Details Captured for later Processing' as a payment option and 'Shared SSL' selected if you highlight this and click the 'Configure Method' button. To re-enable it you should have the 'Standard SSL or unencrypted' option selected.
