disalow shipping on a product

hi, ok this might sound crazy, but i have some products that i do not want to ship to certain countrys.

Having looked at actinics help files i am confused, is there a way to disalow shipping on a certain product.

example
product (a) allow shiping to UK
product (a) disallow shipping to USA,
Product (a) allow shiping to UK and Europe

We are upgrading site from v7 to v9, nearly there!
Currently using shipping based on weight and zones/class

Hi,

The only way you can do this is if you can set large weights to these products. Then you can set up a shipping class for the USA zone that has price bands only for the lighter items. Set the 'Excess' to 'Do not allow'
