cgi-bin corrupting shopping cart

Ok I have no idea.

My shop www.miffyshop.co.uk was working perfectly, we notice this afternoon a fault with the shopping cart, whereby all of the images/graphics were corrupted.

Namely an image:http://www.miffyshop.co.uk/acatalog/buttonspecials.jpg

was displayed as: http://www.miffyshop.co.uk/acatalog/...onspecials.jpg

ie a broken link because http://www.miffyshop.co.uk/acatalog/...onspecials.jpg does not exist.

Interestingly info_MFNUR7447.html is the name of one of the extended product information pages.

Has anyone seen this kind of cgi-bin fault before.

I am currently doing a complete refresh - hope that solves it.

I see other JavaScript and coding errors there. Corrupt code in the YahooSections routine and some </actinic:block> tags leaking into your HTML.

Look at your page with Firefox and use its Tools / Error Console to get decent diagnostics.

I have sorted thi out by various methods:

1) uploaded snapshot from last week
2) cleared all internet content, history and finally cookies

seems to work ok now.

will get onto help desk about code errors.

The View Basket in your blue menu bar is broken. The one in the right hand column Shopping cart works. Copy the code from the working one into the broken one.

I Had a few similar problems recently. Images locations had lots of random code in them and the css just didn't show properly in the basket. It was seemingly random as it displayed correctly in my IE but not FF, but I had others try and some got errors on IE but not FF and vice versa.

In the end I hard coded the Base HREF in just the cart pages. This fixed it, for the most part, but i still occasionally get the problem again, but clearing the cache/cookies seems to sort it.

It's very strange and annoying!
