Re: Support Contact
Spent 30 minutes in the Call queue, got to the front only to be greeted by an answerphone asking me to leave my details. I guess the support team are busy today !
I've mailed in the dump file and details and will await a reply. The problem only seems to be around the database, the site seems to be running fine, but I could be wrong on this.
I see 9.0.2 has been released today. So would appreciate some quick corrective advice on how to proceed to avoid losing Orders.
So far, I upgraded 'successfully' to 9.0.1. (Tuesday night) from 8.5.3.(business) Site seemed fine and some Orders came in yesterday. Started getting crashes & dumps yesterday night (Weds) after trying to change some colours on my PC. I uploaded these to the test site as 'successful'
As 9.0.2 is released today , how should I best deploy it ? As its 40+Mb it looks like a whole new version.
Should I
1) scratch v 9.0.1, install 9.0.2 as a new installation and import my 9.0.1 snapshot ?
2) install 9.0.2 and import my stable 8.5.3 snapshot - will it autoupgrade ?
3) install 9.0.2. as an upgrade to 9.0.1
4) install 9.0.2 as an upgrade to V8 and lose yesterdays orders (have print outs)
Would appreciate some quick advice as I want to resolve this tonight if poss.
I'm running on xp pro, and had no issues with V8.5.3, so I think is only realated to V9 and nothing else on the machine. Thanks

Hi Anthony,
This post is probably a bit late but have you sorted this out yet?
I would've gone for:
2) install 9.0.2 and import my stable 8.5.3 snapshot - will it autoupgrade ?
Also, if you'd taken a backup of the 9.0.1 database (saved it outside of the installation folder) before uninstalling and reinstalling v9.0.2 you could then have imported the orders from that database using the 'File | Import Orders' feature (as long as you hadn't downloaded any orders after the 9.0.2 upgrade as it overwrites all orders in the current database with the orders from the other database).********************
