    Online catalogue without purchase ability

I hope I can explain this properly...

I am looking to design and develop a site with an online catalogue which will have over 1000 products in four categories (each with their own sub-categories), but at this stage, do not require full ecommerce and online payment facilities.

Initially I will require that orders can be placed for offline processing (with an invoice being sent to the customer), but in the future, a full blown ecommerce solution will be employed.

Is this something that Actinic is capable of doing? Obviously I know it is capable of full blown ecommerce, but would it be capable of reproducing the above scenario?

Actinic can indeed do this for you and there are several ways you can achieve this.

        Definitely, Craig.
And Actinic is a quick and easy way to a) provide the catalogue in the first instance and b) switch it to a full ecommerce store when you're ready.

Sounds to me that you do actually want 'full blown ecommerce', you just want 'invoice with order' as the only payment option. The rest is normal, so actinic is a good idea for this for sure.
