    Import Customer Account information

Has anyone managed to do this?! Have an Excel spreadsheet with 100s of customer details, have converted that to a .csv file but having a nightmare now getting it to import correctly. Is there an option like the FlatFileConvertor for products that works for customer accounts?

Have manually added some accounts into Actinic, then exported their details so I can see how the file should be structured but am lost when it comes to merging the existing .csv data with the exported file.

Have read through the help and searched through the forum but am still none the wiser... If anyone has any ideas would be extremely grateful, as always!

    Hi,

I'm afraid not, but I have added this to our wish-list for you.

I don't really think that there is an easy way to convert your flat file to hierarchical, however, you should note that you only really need to import any required fields (see the customer account tab for any field with a '*'). Addresses and Buyers do not have to be imported, they can be added in manually afterwards if necessary.

It's probably worth converting one of your accounts to the hierarchical format as you have seen from the file you exported to see what is required for getting your accounts into that format.
