Im looking for information on setting up a paypal only payment system.

is there a tutorial or faq, or guide anywhere that is recommended?

I would have thought just adding one of the PayPal options in your payment and security settings would do the trick. Or maybe I misunderstand what you mean?

payment and security tab, configure method type in your paypal email acct as merchant id = job done
