Retrieve Order Button Grayed Out

Hi,

I have just created a new site and I've just received an order alert by email. However the retrieve button is not working (grayed out). I had this problem over a year ago on another site and I'm sure I deleted some files on my server to get round this.

I have gone through the forum to try and find the original thread but all I get are the posts that say purge & refresh etc which I've done.

Can anyone help?

Make sure in business settings that order processing is enabled, sounds like it has been switched off.

All the settings are based on another shop and are all set to enable order processing.

I am sure the files I cleared were .pl files or something similar.

The download order button should still be enabled even if no orders are there ... it will go through the same procedure and report no new orders found.

Check under 'Design | Designer Options' that 'Site upload is enabled' and 'Order download is enabled' are ticked.
