Alternative delivery address not showing up

    Alternative delivery address not showing up

    When I tick the box in the checkout for adding a different delivery address, I am not asked to enter an alternative delivery address before the order is complete.

    Is there any reason this is not working?

    Also, when using the 'general info' field on the check out page, the information entered here does not show up on the info sent to me. Could these be related?

    Hi,

    The delivery address fields should appear on the page where you choose your payment method. If they do not show up here then I suggest you try going to 'Design | Library | Layouts | Checkout Area' and rever tthe 'Delivery Address Fields' layout back to factory settings (by right-clicking on the layout). Then update your site and see if it then works.

    Also, when using the 'general info' field on the check out page, the information entered here does not show up on the info sent to me
    When you download the order this information should appear in the 'Misc' tab. If this isn't happening, can you post a URL so I can check it out please.

      Hi there

      I've tried restoring the settings but I'm still getting the same problem. I have restricted payment options to invoice only - could this be the problem? There obviously won't be a payment type selection page if there is only one option available.

        You should still see the payment methods selection page even if there is only one option to choose from. Are you saying that you don't get this page at all then? Can you post a URL so I can take a look please.

            I tried it out and it worked as it should for me. Because your site is for registered customers only, if you want them to be able to input an alternative address, then in the 'buyers' tab of the account you need to select the 'Allow user to select or enter a new address' option. I hope that helps.
