Cannot Get Back Order to Complete

I just did my first back order which looked good. I have now shipped the back order but I cannot get the orders to complete. They show full payment received, invoice and packing list printed. The back order shows a ship date and 100% items shipped. The parent order in the orders tab shows no ship date and 0% items shipped, but if I look at the order details it shows one item as shipped and the other as back ordered. I seem to remember that when we first got the order I marked one of the items as shipped and then un shipped it. Perhaps this is where the problem arose.

    Any ideas anyone?

V9 has some weird s**t going on with ordering, back ordering and offline ordering. The only way to fix it is to edit the db in access, find the orrder and look along the line, the order qty's and shipped quantities will be wrong and or the shipped date will be blank.

    V9 trashed this

Exporting the order will also allow it to complete (you may need to enable order export in business settings first).

I've got support currently looking at this issue and was told a week ago they would let me know more soon and i'm still waiting. I'm not really sure what the £250 a year we pay for support entitles us to but i'm gald the problem is not more important considering the speed which they work!

You can get it to complete by editing the database which i did using this guide http://community.actinic.com/showthread.php?t=37252 although this does allow you to complete the order and moves it to the completed orders section i was unable to print an invoice but it was better than nothing.

Same here, plus problems with offline orders (duplicated 1 product line 6 times!)

Currently on hold as system crashes everytime i try to view an offline order. Been hanging on 10 mins!!

            Hi

I am probably tempting fate here, but we had up to a dozen orders in the first couple of weeks or so that would not complete. We exported them to move them to the completed order tab. But since then no problems and it seems stable, today one order had additions and cancellations and a lot of messing around with, but completed ok. It has settled down quite quickly (the database) and the worst problems were with orders that were pending when we upgraded.

            Regards

            Nigel
