    USA version

    Hi,

    My problem:
This PC has V8 installed and running happily (UK).
We have an American office which wants their own e-commerce website, makes sense to use Actinic for that too. I've downloaded the US version of V8 (they don't seem to have v9 yet) but it wants to upgrade my version here which I obviously don't want to do because of the country differences.
Is it possible to have two V8 (UK and USA) running on one PC??

    Thanks
    Regards Steve

No, you can't have two different version of V8 on the same machine unfortunately.

You could use a Virtual machine or perhaps Sandboxie.

Sandboxie didn't work for me, it still tries to upgrade the existing V8.
Damn I may have to fly out to California and just work there for a couple of weeks

Unless the need for a holiday is driving you, wouldn't it be easier to buy a £300 laptop instead?

Do both and work on the beach.

I like the idea of laptop and the beach, but not sure my employer would go for that. Pity.
Would partitioning this PC be an option??

              Thanks

If you could dual boot then yes.

Otherwise download the free VMWare Converter and create a virtual machine of your computer; then download the free VMWare player and you have a virtual machine of your computer which can use.
