Hi,
A customer of mine is using Business 8.5.2 and wants to start using the EPOS software.
So that we could help him, we installed a trial version of 8.5.2 on a new PC and restored a snapshot. This gave us a working setup.
We then installed EPOS 2.9.2 on the same machine. Using the default settings and we can see the sever link icon is running.
In the business software setting/options we ticked the epos link and got the new menu.
In the epos link we set both branch and head office to localhost and left the default port. Clicking on the test button says connection ok.
So we then go to transfer products and select all, and overwrite, match up VAT and prices. Click apply and then transfer.
now we get a couldn't establish connection to EPOS.
if we go back to the settings page the test button still says it's ok.
Any ideas what maybe going on. This is a brand new XP install and has nothing else installed just Business V8.5.2 and EPOS 2.92.
Thanks for your time.
Regards
Paul
