OpenOffice.org Base

Hi,

Can OpenOffice.org Base be used to edit the actinic database, instead of microsoft access, I am using V9?

Never tried it but would have a go but be very careful .... duplicate the existing database to outside the actinic folder and have a play on the live one.. if it dies drag the copied version back into the actinic site folder.I would try something minor first .. changing say a few lines of product text and then trying before undertaking anything major. Tread with care!!

I've had a play with OOo and but not used Base in earnest. You can view and change data but you are limited. Have a look here:
