Mix & Match store sections

I'm currently building a site for a client and they like the design of the 'Hot Shot' theme but want the store sections displayed like in 'Smart' with main heading and sub headings visible.

Where can I change the settings in 'Hot Shot' to use that menu style?

Don't use the smart method of nav, it's suicide IMO. Have a good read of the blockif tutorials provided by Gabe in the layouts forum, they will get you 90% of the way there, the rest is pretty logical. It's literally a 15 minute job at most, once you understand blockifs.

If they really want it despite the words of wisdom from Guru Lee you can always lift the code out of the Smart layout in the Library .... it is like a repository of information in there. Aptly named.
