    Snapshot Backup System Error 2

    Hi

    I have recently been updating the images on my website, and deleting the old (unused) images from the actinic directory in my documents.

    All is working okay but when I run the Snapshot Backup routine I get several error messages like this one;

    Errors
    (File ExportFiles.cpp, Line 456) - The file C:\Documents and Settings\Matt Rooke\My Documents\Actinic v8\Sites\Site1\tc-2.jpg was not found System error 2 - The system cannot find the file specified.
    ..

    Thinking that there must be products, section and sub section pointing to these deleted image files I have searched through the contents tree but can’t find any of the missing images?

    I did a search earlier and have tried running 'compact database’ and ‘website refresh’ all without any luck.

    I'm using Business Client v8. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction please.

    Do a file|export and have a look for the image name in the spreadsheet. It could also be listed in additional files, it could be in a CSS sheet, there isn't just one place to check where it could be. Try and locate the file online to see what it looks like, it may help hunt it down.

      Last resort is to copy and rename another image to match the missing if it has been orphaned and you are not able to track it down.

        This morning I exported a text spreadsheet file as suggested.

        Found reference to the missing file name in column G, the correct image name was listed in column D. Column I lists the page name.

        When I check the page name in the contents tree the correct image file is listed?

        Have checked each page on my website and all images are showing correctly?

        Is this a bug or something that I've done?

          What was the header for that column, is it an extended info image for example?

            why not go into your recycle bin and restore all the images you deleted and see if that fixes it. Tidying up often causes problems!
